Some firsts

4 months old on August 1, and a bunch of changes in the pipeline! Sam cut his first tooth last night and aside from drooling a river, his demeanor has been pretty good...all things considered. And, as seen below, he had his first "food" tonight - a whopping 1 TBS serving of rice cereal. He seemed to take to the spoon pretty well as well as the watery, white, goo.

Lastly, he's just about ready to receive his first hair cut (ie. have his head shaved). His beautiful, dark hair at birth has dwindled down to a few Charlie Brown's on top and 1/2 a dark ridge of hair around the back. He (and his bed) is always covered with his shedding hair, even after a bath...yuck! Gasp if you must, but yes, Sam will have his first buzz-cut at 4 months old.
