Feline Fiefdom

We actually have two cats but you'd never know it. Abraham, or Abe as we call him, definitely rules the roost. He even disciplines Emma with a quick, gentle gnaw...when she needs it. I'm not sure that I've seen a dog take the abuse he does, from a two-year old. And, for his diet, he loves to dine on ice chunks, yogurt, juice, green beens, refried beans and absolutely any fruit (oddly, he could care less about meat). The moment he hears someone crunching on an apple, he is immediately by their side begging for a bite or lick.

Abe also has this way of making Teddy (Theodore, our other cat) do all the begging when their cat food bowl is empty. This normally takes place at 4am and the scene always ends with one of us swatting at Teddy so he will discontinue his on-our-bed-wall-of-Jericho (Joel and I being Jericho) meowing pattern. As usual, there sits Abe, ever so coyly, just outside our bedroom door.

With all that being said - we still love our 16lb. lump of lazy cat :)

I forgot to mention, he snores like a tractor too!
