Fall

Fall...probably my favorite season (though summer ranks up there, too). To celebrate fall arriving, a portion of our small group decided to hit the fall festival at Koetsier's greenhouse in Cascade. Having never been, I was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. We initially went to hang out in the kids' activity area, but upon arriving we found out that a FREE lunch of hot dogs, chips, keg root beer, apples, and various varieties of Culvers' custard was going to be served. BONUS!

Even without the free lunch, the kids' area rocked and well worth the $5/kid...especially on a crummy weather weekend.

I think I'd still like to hit an orchard for some apple-crisp apples...where to go, where to go? We have so many choices.

Sam, still sporting a smile after a no-nap morning.

Who ever said "there's no such thing as a free lunch?"

Call the paddy wagon please! Who let the crazy guy in?

A very organized pumpkin painting station. The kids loved it.

Brody, Emma and Raegan sprinting to get BACK INTO
the inflatable, train, obstacle course.

The corn-kernal sandbox. So fun, and not messy.
What a superb idea.
