Pulling it back together

A lack of posting usually means nothing has been going on OR that a ton has been going on and I've had no time to update. I regret to say that it is the first option. Nothing has been going on since we are in recovery mode after a 7-day illness that left me wanting nothing more than my Kleenex box, cough syrup and my bed. I spent the better part of last week trying to manage Emma (barely) while trying to squeak out some work, from home. As of yesterday, I am feeling nearly 95% and thank the Lord! I think Emma was ready to trade me in for a mom that could actually move off the couch.

Loving all things tech and being attached (not really) to my laptop 24/7, I am happy to report a new addition to our home. Of course, the demise of my old laptop had to finally and officially happen last week at the most inopportune time. Needless to say, amidst my weakened state, I still found a bit of energy to do some research and find myself a new laptop (for work, and cheaper than listed) as well as successfully transfer most of my settings and files.

And finally, this season (election season) always keeps Joel and I very busy since I work in politics and Joel works in managing elections, locally.

So, until November 4th...I may be a bit quiet :)

Hi Brenda, I have been following your blog for the last month and loving it!! Barbie introduced me and I'm hooked. You are an amazing photographer. I am doing a little myself and find your photos inspiring. I myself am a mac girl and having some issues with templates. I just asked Barbie what kind of computer you have and then your next post answered my question.
Thanks for the compliment. Traverse City has really been a challenge...no family, etc. It was nice to hear the kids look happy.
keep in touch.
