Does this funky tomato growing method look sweet to anyone else? We love fresh veggies, especially tomatoes, but can't have a garden while living in a condo. Better yet, tell me if you know how they work. I've sort of, kind of, slyly (what, a public blog isn't sly?) suggested one these as a possible Mother's Day gift :)
Side note: while doing some research on this item, it appears that they are fairly hard to come by. I've found them sold out on many web sites. It must be the season!

It definitely looks cool but I still would argue that you could put a pot on your lower patio that is out of reach to the furballs on your upper deck. =)
Plus, who's to say that a "swinging" tomato plant would not be fun 'swatting' material for said furballs...=)
(of course i'll totally be over picking the harvest off your topsy-turvy if you get one!)
My friend Debbie swears by them!!!
I got sucked in to the infomercial. Love the idea.
How much fresher can veggies be then right after the misting they get at the supermarket? the Hardings by me even simulates thunder over a speaker so you know when the veggies are going to be "rained" on.
Very fascinating process and much easier than gardening.
