Emma and I just had to get out this morning. She woke up and nearly cried while asking, "we go bye bye?!" I felt the same way, but was able to keep my tears in check :) I don't mind winter and I actually like the snow, but this current weather is getting to me too.
Even in light of a cousin with flu-like symptoms, we risked it, hoping to beat the odds, and went for a quick visit.
This evening we will visit Joel's parents who've been stranded in Chicago for TWO nights, unable to make it back to Grand Rapids, due to the wild weather. They were returning from a week long Caribbean cruise...I guess I don't feel too badly for them :)
