We're in the process of some home improvement projects (too many actually) and two of the projects are nearing completion. And, since I have no patience, I wanted to show the before -n- (almost) after photos now.
I have to say that while I love home improvement projects because I'm eager for the end product, the in between stage royally stinks. I feel like most of my home is in disarray and nothing is where it should be. As my wise mother might say (I can hear her saying it now), "you kids have far too many irons in the fire!" She is probably correct.
Anyhow, the following photos show two of the many projects that are more completed than not completed. Hopefully a couple more Saturdays and weekday nights will bring them to completion once and for all! Let me know what you think. I'm pretty happy with the results so far.

Again, not quite finished as we have yet to add a small, white chair railon top of the tin. But, you get the gist.

Love, love, love the tin. Actually contemplated using it as our backsplash in the newly remodeled kitchen. Question for you since we love to home improve: is it the faux tin/sheets of tin like stuff and where did you find it? We went to one home improvement store and didn't like their selection and then went to a really pricey place and didn't like their "real" prices. Thanks.
