Family Tradition

My immediate family has 6 August birthdays. Annually, to celebrate these birthdays, we will meet my oldest brother, wife and 4 kids halfway between DeMotte, Indiana and Grand Rapids. Well, that just happens to be the lovely Benton Harbor, Michigan. I know, Benton Harbor you ask...well, one can't be too choosy when coordinating places and dates between 5 familial units. It is what it is.

We met at a local elementary school playground so the 8 nieces and nephews could play until their hearts were content. That's always fun to watch.

Then, off to dinner for some grub and cake. Good times, good times...

My nephew Ethan who ADORES Emma

Emma nearly broke the buckles on her car seat
when she saw her cousins at the school

My niece Regan

My mom wanted a Christmas card photo
of her, papa and the 8 grandchildren...
well see if this make the cut

Thanks dad for diverting a melt-down catastrophe!!

Welcome to the Neighborhood...

Love the b & w photo of all the grandkids. You're getting good there Ms. Photographer.

Also, I saw that tiered platter thingy at Costco and totally want it. Now that I see it on your blog too, I must have it. :)
