I really don't have that much to post about so I'll give a quick run-down of what's been going on around the Hondorp home. I created my first blog book. I'm addicted (can't wait to make one for 2007) and I'm SO VERY proud of it since it actually took me about 20 hours to get it just "so." Since I don't craft or do Creative Memories, and I spend countless hours on my laptop, daily...I figured this would be the PERFECT way for me to preserve MY memories, blog, pictures, etc. The book is hardcover, and ended up being 110 pages. I thought this was a steal for $40 as I understand that most Creative Memories devotees spend LOTS more on their crafty thingys.
I just agreed to be a nursery coordinator at church and will be taking a CPR refresher course since my high school training has long since lapsed. I'm actually looking forward to this. I haven't stepped foot in a nursery (aside from dropping Emma off) since I was about 12 years old and that was just so that I could legally skip church.
Our condo is still for sale. It's already been an entire year (end of June), so we just re-listed and lowered the price. And, amazingly, I feel a sense of peace about it. God's timing is best even though I would have liked to have sold it yesterday so that we could move into the perfect neighborhood with children. On the flip side, we still enjoy living in our condo, we are not crunched for space, the mortgage isn't daunting and we love the location. We have much to be thankful for so wishing myself into a house at the cost of happiness is SO not worth it! Sometimes I nearly talk myself out of selling...
