It's the greatest weekend ever...at least in Byron Center :) It's the annual Byron Center Days that begin tonight. If you're looking for something to do this weekend, come on over. Among many other things, there will be children's rides, carnival food booths, craft booths and even a "Byron Idol" (yes, this would be patterned after the show American Idol) and no, I have not entered myself as a contestant. My personal favorite is the parade on Saturday morning at 10am. Joel will be driving engine 144 in the parade and Emma and I will be assisting him by tossing candy to the crowds. There's also a 5k race (on my wish list), pancake breakfast, flea market and Saturday night fireworks.
