...my child is very happily watching a video. At one time, I was one of those pre-moms who swore she'd never let the T.V. babysit her child. Desperate times call for desperate measures...and a HUGE heap of reality!
I work from home and unless she's napping, it's a delicate dance getting to my emails or phone calls, let alone any long-term projects.
If you have a toddler and don't allow your child any video watching, please school me. I'd love to know how you get anything done!
I also have to say that we spend a ton of time outside, swinging, in the pool, at the park, etc. So these precious 30 minutes are guilt free. Maybe I should get some work done instead of blogging!

3 thing(s) you said:
What a terrible mom you are! We NEVER watch videos over here!
My child is engrossed in mind-stimulating activites every second of the day...
LOL
Will loves "Baby Newt," and he watches way too much TV. but you'd be surprised what they can learn from TV. Will can count in spanish and he didn't learn that from me, He learned that from Handy Manny
A one time fee of $9.99 is a lot cheaper than $7.00/hour for a babysitter.
