Long awaited

I didn't get a Mother's Day gift per se, but instead I am receiving a whole year's worth of gifts at once. I'm an avid picture taker and have always wished to turn my love of picture taking into a real hobby. With that being said, this Canon XTi will find a new home (with me) by week's end.

Joel's golf league was canceled this evening (oh shucks!) due to the rain, so we instead ventured to a local camera store to peruse and check prices. It turns out that this store happily met (even undercut) the web pricing I had found while doing research. That made me very happy. The camera color that I preferred (silver) was not available, but will ship from another of this store's locations so that I'll have it very soon!

Next on my wish list, a telephoto lens! Patience my child, patience...

Of course you can try it out. In fact, now we can both stalk our own children while they play and snap pics of them at 3 frames/second!

Very cool. Watch out Steph! There's a new photographer in town.

(And since she never bothers to comment on any of our blogs anymore, I think I'm safe to say that.=)

Steph I am not (nor shall I ever be)...but I have noticed her lack of blog commenting lately. Is she busy or something?? Maybe we should have an intervention...

She claims she can't comment because of 'New Bloggers'. And she lacks the computer skills to figure it out?????? I am being very mature and won't comment on her blog until she comments on mine again. (You scratch my proverbial blogger back, I'll scratch yours. Or something like that.=)

Just kidding of course Steph.

she can always comment as "anonymous" at the very least...but otherwise she just has to update to the "new" blogger mode which entails getting a google account, simple. Our tech short bus friend, Jenny, had the same issue a while back...
