It's a GIRL!

We found out on Monday that we are having a GIRL!! We can't believe how fast this is all moving, but we love it! In another sense, waiting until the due date, February 9th, is going to kill me...I can hardly stand it already. Initially, the birth mother was going to be scheduled for a c-section because the baby was breached, but when we went to the ultrasound yesterday, that little stinker had turned herself completely around! So, we are waiting on pins-n-needles for the call that the birth mother has gone into labor. We continue to need prayers as there are still several unknowns that need to be worked out, but we are trusting in God's goodness to get us thru this!

I can not forget to mention one of the most incredible things that has happened this far. We met with the birth mother yesterday, and her aunt. It was a very special time where we were able to share a bit about eachother and Joel and I were able to thank her and express our never-ending gratitude to her. It brings tears to my eyes to think that someone is entrusting us with their child...truly amazing! Please remember to place her at the top of your prayer list as she is making an amazing sacrifice that will change our lives forever!
