WE'VE BEEN LINKED!!

WE HAVE BEEN LINKED WITH AN EXPECTANT MOTHER!!

I feel pretty silly since my last blog entry as I was ranting and raving about how I was tired of waiting and frankly, being my normal self, I was behaving very IMPATIENTLY! Well, my mom ALWAYS told me that God has a sense of humor and that we should always be careful what we ask for, because we just might get it :)

Boy, she sure is right! With that being said, the next part of the exciting news is that the birth mom is due very soon and is going to be scheduled for a C-section this week!

We are still trying to digest the whole situation, but we are beyond excited and can hardly believe that we got the call. There I was, sitting at work, finishing up some things before the weekend and I got a phone call that will probably change our lives more than any other single thing.

I feel like I should be more nervous, but I'm not (am I crazy?!). All I can say is that we have such an awesome support system including family, friends and a church family that is beyond compare. It was such a blast to share our news at church this morning and have so many people, so happy for us.

We have a busy week ahead of us, with a lot of unknowns to figure out, but are comforted to know that we have so many prayer warriors on our side.
