This year we opted for $1/ride night at the Hudsonville Fair. In Dutch west Michigan, as you can imagine, it was BUSY, but fun!
This year we ended up doing more rides than animal viewing. I want to change that next year as the animals are my favorite part.
We also, sadly, found out that Joel does not have award winning meat :(
Of course, being the supportive encouraging wife that I am, I told him his meat was totally award winning and deserves first place! :)
After scrutinizing all the other entrants, we seemed to gather some valuable, canned meat judging intel, so we'll try again next year.
(I think it still stings that my first and only year of canning and submitting tomatoes, I scored a blue ribbon)
