Fear these!

While I've eaten these morsels of melted goo a time or two, I've never made them myself until now and I've since decided they are far to easy to make and taste far to good not to share with everyone I know. Maybe I'm a day late and dollar short and you already know this secretly simple recipe that'll make any group fall to their knees in delicious submission. If so, pass it on to someone else. This recipe is worth repeating.

Warning: do not make these unless you will be sharing with loads of people. Leftovers are dangerous and could be considered hazardous to your health...literally.

Cinnamon Pecan Buns
  • Frozen Dinner Rolls (24 rolls)
  • 1 1/2 C. Chopped Pecans
  • 1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 Box, Cook & Serve Butterscotch Pudding Mix (regular size box, not the biggy)
  • 2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 Stick of Butter, melted
Grease 9x13 pan. Coat bottom of pan with chopped pecans. Place frozen rolls on top of pecans in a 4x6 pattern. Mix all dry ingredients and sprinkle evenly over frozen rolls. Drizzle melted butter evenly over rolls. Cover pan with a light/thin towel. Let rise about 6+ hours, or overnight is fine.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 (I prefer 25 minutes). Cool for 3-5 minutes. Cover the pan with a large rectangular platter or even a cookie sheet with sides, flip pan over on to platter. Voila! Serve.

Considering I've eaten about 13 chocolate bunnies in the last week, I think I'll wait awhile to try these out. They look divine!

They're delicious. I first came to know this recipe as Rick's Sticky Buns. I run and hide every time he makes them for the office.
