I've finally arrived. I am the proud owner of a blue ribbon for PRIZE WINNING canned tomatoes. Last September, along with my mom, I canned many tomatoes hoping for a successful entrant. Apparently we are a prize winning combination. OK, enough about me...
Joel also entered a product of his hard work, canned meat. Last year he took fifth place, while this year he made the leap to 3rd place.
Joel's mom also entered a counted cross stitch that took second place.
Most importantly, we went to the Hudsonville Community Fair to simply walk around and let Emma see all the animals. It was very hot and humid out, especially in the animal barns, where combined with the overpowering smells, made for a realistic farm experience! But, Emma loved every moment of it even though she called most large animals a cow. We're working on that...

I think your old bunny rabbit Cinder could have taken first prize if she were still alive. Too bad she had to hop under that shed. Rest in peace Cinder!

You say tomato I say tomata. Congrats Brenda. I asked my hubby if we could go to the Hudsonville Fair and he said, "no, I'm not a Fair person. It's too stinky and too hot." Alrighty then.
Congrats!!!
Congratulations....I think your South Dakota ancestry has helped you in this endeavor.
Hey, I put neoearth counter in for awhile and then the trial period ran out. Is there no way around paying for this gadget? I kind of enjoyed that but don't want to pay. Dutch
