Disney - Day 5B

Day 5 was sort of a marathon day, hence the 2nd post. Many months ago (because you have to), Joel made dinner reservations for us to have dinner at Chef Mickey's which hosted at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I was actually impressed with the fare, this time...but mostly, Emma (+ Sam) had a blast. It was cute to see ALL the kids at this dinner burst with excitement to meet their favorite cartoon characters. By this time, Emma had her character-meeting protocol down pat...per Joel's military type instruction/training :)

Each character made their way around the dining room and paid close attention to each child, even those who were too young to appreciate the hoopla (i.e. Sam).

AFTER dinner, Joel and Emma took the monorail from the
Contemporary Resort to see the nightly fireworks at Magic
Kingdom where she got to see Tinkerbell "fly" through the sky.
It was a LATE night for Emma, but she did GREAT!
