You just can't go wrong hanging out with Fred Meijer. You have groceries on one hand and an amazing and beautiful sculpture park/kid's garden on the other hand.
Saturday looked like it was going to begin with some glorious weather so Joel and I decided to use our shiny new Meijer Gardens membership. Apparently we get to take a couple guests for "free" each visit so this time the lucky winners were my gracious and fun out-laws (Joel's parents). I've been in the children's garden many times but have failed to really explore the sculpture park...until now. We acquired some tram passes with our membership so decided to use them and see the entire park once and for all. While the promise of a 45 minute tram ride seemed much to long (and torture for Emma), it went by quickly as our docent was phenomenal and the sculptures awesome.
