Purge Saturday

Lately and every so often, I'll wake up in the middle of the night with my mind racing. I finally settle down and fall back to sleep once I've mentally compiled my list of what, in our home, needs to be cleaned, reorganized or dumped.

Today was the day. Joel and I haven't relaxed for one second today (until this post). In fact, Joel is off to the park with Emma so I can continue purging, etc. We managed to make major headway in our garage, deck and back room. For some reason, these three areas get ignored the most and needed some serious TLC.

It's a fabulous feeling throwing so much "stuff" out...especially since we are also in the middle of some minor renovations and our lower level is a disaster zone (which drives me nuts).

And, tonight, we have Joel's parents coming over to watch Emma while we go out for sushi with some friends. I can't think of a better way to end such a day of accomplishment!
