As the final day of summer quickly fades, I'm reminded how blessed we are to experience the fullness of four, distinct seasons (I'll need to re-read this post in February) as we spent the afternoon on yet another, breath-taking, inland, Michigan lake (Green Lake, Allegan county).
While we'll surely have many more days of glorious weather, I'm sad that summer is officially done.
A quick re-cap of our summer includes family birthday celebrations, day-camping, a few out-of-state trips, boating, BBQs, parks, parks and more parks, biking, ice-cream, and being so tired, at night from playing, that you fall asleep the moment your head hits the pillow!

3 thing(s) you said:
I am so jealous! I grew up in michigan, and loved the day trips and long summer vacations up north to so many of the lakes. I just spent 20 minutes searching out Murray Lake as I know I have been there. I live in Florida now and though I love it here, I wish I could summer in Michigan like my wealthier relatives! Oh and I love your blog. We have also adopted our 20 month old little girl Jamie.
so where is the Murray Lake you are referring to?
