While we don't actually live in the city of Wyoming, today, we took advantage of the latest addition to their park system, the new Lamar Park Splashpad. It was a picture perfect morning for Emma and about 500 of her closest friends to celebrate the grand opening. Emma and I met up with some friends and we had a nice time chatting while mostly trying to keep an eye on our children so they didn't get lost among the masses. I hope to go back soon when the crowds have diminished a bit.

If you double click on this picture, you'll get a feel
for how insanely packed with people the park was

Our friends Erin, Owen, Joshua & Catherine (who
was being interview by Joel Hill from WCSG radio)

Bradi also being interviewed...big time!

Emma didn't care too much for all the activity.
A few tromps thru the water and then it was juice time.
Hopefully by summer's end she'll be a bit more daring.

It was great to see you guys today! Thanks for capturing a picture of us being interviewed, what a shining moment - NOT! We had fun and hope to see you back at the splashpad some time!

You gals are so darn famous. I remember taking the kids to Millenium Park last summer and no one even wanted to go in the water stuff & play. Made this fun mommy annoyed.

Looks like a good time! The picture of all the people reminds me of that Shel Silverstein poem "Too Many Kids in this Tub."

Such fun! I'll have to take my nieces there another day. What a life...sitting under an umbrella stroller shaded with a juice box in hang....the life of a child!
