HOT & SWEATY

It was gorgeous out yesterday, albeit hot and humid. But, you'll find no complaints from me. It is not hard to remember the bitter cold months in the not so distant past which in turn make me welcome all the heat and humidity with open arms (I suppose living in A/C helps too).

So, to the park again we went. I shouldn't give away my secret playground, but I will, cuz I'm nice :) Marshall Elementary on 64th street in Byron Township has a separate kindergarten playground that is completely enclosed by a fencing and a slide iron gate. And, every piece of equipment is the perfect size for Emma and she can't escape. No worrying that something is too big for her to play on. We took some lawn chairs, cool drinks, snacks, friends and had a great time.

This is one tired, sweaty girl who ran non-stop on the playground

Emma was pretty excited that her cousins Reagen & Olivia showed up to play

As always, ice cream afterwards at Houseman's
(Emma's triplet cousins Reagan, Olivia & Aidan are pictured)

How's that watermelon Raegan?

That was SO fun. I think it should be our traditional friday night activity. I'm sure Brad would be O.K. with picnic sandwiches every fri. after a long days work. LOL. (so high maintenance!)

P.S. Totally had to soak her pink shirt to get out the watermelon juice.
Oh..and had pieces of playground bark all over my car the next day. =)

Thanks for sharing the info on the park. We may just have to check it out sometime.
