Crafter wannabe?

I'm definitely not the craftiest person alive, nor do I want to be. But, I am eager to take on a crafty challenge every now and again. With encouragement from a wish-I-were-a-crafter friend, together, we decided to each sew ourselves a reversible swing bag. I had to put the reins on my need for perfection and lack of patience a couple of times, but in the end I was very happy with the final product (then splurged on a pair of matching turquoise flip-flops).

I even got the "I'm so proud of you" comment from my mom who has been trying to help me sew for years. It's amazing how much parent encouragement and approval still means at almost 35 years of age!

Too Cute!! I have always wanted to learn to sew. Hopefully once my life is a bit more settled I will be able to buy a sewing machine and take some lessons. Then you can tell me how to make a bag. :) I actually enjoy being crafty.

Are you and Bradi going to be on that new show You've Got Talent? Excellent job. I ordered one on BKs blog last week, but never got confirmation of my order. LOL.

LOVE IT!!! Way to be crafty! Say, did you use a pattern? And where did you get such cute fabric?

If you could share the pattern without "cheating" I sure would like it. My daughers and daugher-in-law would give me the Kudos if I could make one for each of us.

You are 'sew' cool. ;) I joined in on the play-on-words. Looked like fun ... seriously though, how much for one of those babies?

how much??? If you take Emma off my hands for about two afternoons, I could whip one up for ya! LOL!

Truth be told...If I can do it, SEW can you!
