BLOG CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!

I'm not sure what it is...could SPRING be in the air!? The thought of taking the time to post just doesn't rate at the top of my list anymore.

Here are a few pics that might show what we've been up to. Not in any particular order :)

Grilling: My husband could hardly wait to get his charcoal grill going again. One of this year's first subjects was a pair of beer-butt-chickens. They were a true party for my taste buds. Thus starts the phenomenon of Hondorp-grilling-mania. My husband searches for anything he can grill. In fact, the other night, he suggested I whip up a pan of brownies to throw on the grill. I then suggested that charcoal-mesquite infused brownies were not my idea of a tasty sweet treat.

Church Retreat: This past weekend was our women's church retreat. It was a ton of fun as we roughed it by staying at the illustrious Camp Geneva. Actually the cabins are very nice, modern and clean. A camper I am not. Our speaker was Beth Weber, a native Michigander who has an awesome and powerful testimony to tell. I left invigorated with a passion for getting back into The Bible with a daily quiet time that I need, but often gets pushed aside my "more important" things. If you ever get a chance to experience Beth Weber...do it!

Family: We've been spending time with some family too. It was our niece Keri's Birthday on Sunday so a party was in order! Cake and ice cream rule! We also have been getting reacquainted with both sets of parents as they were both, TOGETHER, on a nearly two-week Panama Canal cruise. Yes, you read right...my and Joel's parents were on a cruise together. This is either their 3rd of 4th trip together. It's pretty sweet to have parents and in-laws that get along so well.

Outside: The weather we're having is just glorious! Need I say more...
