Sunday was the big celebration for Emma's FIRST Birthday. Joel kept joking that none of "this" (streamers, balloons, food, party, gifts, party dress, etc) was for Emma, but that it was all for me.

Anyhow, we had about 23 people over for brunch and I'm pretty sure it was a good time for all. I know that Emma enjoyed everyone's company and gracious gifts!!

I think you need to throw down a tarp, fill that lobster up with about 200 pounds of rice, and let her go at it. She would love it!! Just make sure Abe and Teddy don't think they now have the world's largest litter box.
totally CUTE idea...I shall venture to Costco tomorrow to see what 200+ lbs of rice cost :)
