Saturday we did the traditional fall activity and headed North, to Greenville, to Klackle Orchards. We went up with Joel's brother, wife and two kids. Upon arriving, we thought it appeared busy...we had no idea what busy was. By the time we left, which was around 2 or so, the orchard was filled with chaotic, masses of people. I suppose going to the orchards on what we're being told is going to be THE LAST NICE fall weekend, should've clued us in. Aside from all of West Michigan following us on our day trip, we had a delightful time. We all rode in an enchanted pumpkin, out to the pumpkin patch. I can honestly say that I've never ridden in an enchanted pumpkin
before...so that was a first. We also were able to pick some apples to take home with us which I made into a huge pan of apple crisp that we shared with family on Sunday! Oh sooo good!
BLOG amendment: I forgot to add that we partook in some of those dough rings that are deep fried with various toppings. I don't make it a practice to EVER eat donuts, but for some reason being at the orchard I felt completely free to have a taste of several different donuts...my vote goes to the glazed sour-cream donut! Mouth watering!
On a side note, BOO HOO for MSU (Joel, an MSU alumnus, is very sad) but the Tigers will hopefully make up for it and sweep the A's (sorry Emily!!)
Here are a few pics...I threw in the scary pic of me and Emma for no reason other than I failed at taking a self portrait and it looks freaky!

2 thing(s) you said:
We have sworn off the "Klackle" because of the masses. However, their donuts are worth the trip up north. :)
you ARE freaky looking but you're forgiven since the other "half" in the picture is adorable. RG misses you already EP!!
