We finally made it home after driving nearly 800 miles since Sunday. Our "triangle of travel" (Grand Rapids to Sandusky to Boyne Mountain, back home) proved to be a bit much for Emma. She just wasn't herself today which I'm sure is a result of keeping her on-the-go and neglecting her normal routine and schedule.
We had a ton of fun starting off Sunday by having Father's day dinner at the famous Tony Packo's in Toldeo, OH. Monday, my entire immediate family went to Cedar Point and the weather was perfect. Tuesday we all went our seperate ways which landed us up at Boyne Mountain, until today.
Boyne Mountain was gorgeous and serene (and our room was beautiful!). While Joel "conferenced" every day, Emma and I drove to Petoskey to see the lake and walk the parks and marina.
One thing I've come to admit...vacations are great, but it is always wonderful to come home again!
Joel enjoying the WILD & CRAZY Calypso!
