Easter

Easter weekend was spent celebrating Sam's birthday with family and, of course, going to church Sunday morning, followed by a quiet, delicious brunch with only Joel's parents. The quick-n-dirty journal of our weekend goes as follows:

  • Friday night: birthday party for Sam with Joel's family
  • Saturday morning: Easter egg coloring and church Easter egg scramble
  • Saturday afternoon: head to my parent's home for the day to spend time with my family, including my oldest brother and his family, who drove up from Indiana for the weekend.
  • Saturday evening: continue at my parent's house with entire family for Sam's second birthday party, dinner, gifts and to watch a very sad MSU loss.
  • Sunday: church (me in nursery) and then Joel's parents came over for brunch since Joel was on fire-duty call and we couldn't go to Ada with my family.

Scrambling for eggs...

Who's that squinty mom taking all the annoying photos??!
