Complaining

Obviously Sam and Emma are not biologically related, but I still can't help compare them, especially when at the same age. Emma was (still is) my busy body who didn't require me near her 24/7. Sam, on the other hand, is definitely more of a snuggler, lover (not a fighter), and straight up likes to be held. If I'm holding him and I even begin to adjust my body in an attempt to set him down he starts to complain. That doesn't make for very productive days so I hear lots of complaining from my sweet little boy who wants mama to hold him all. the. time.

Here's exhibit 29F - and no, I'm not a mean mom because I video-taped Sam complaining, but I simply have to find humor in day-to-day mundaness or I'd go crazy mad myself :)

Let me set the video scene. I set Sam down to put my coat on so that we could leave the house...

Note these video highlights
0:19 baby eye-ball stretch
0:37 my Blackberry drops and all complaining instantly ceases and desists

I think he's really crying cause you parted his hair and slicked it to the side....LOL! Oh Sammers. Just get the poor kid his own crackberry and he'll leave you alone. ;)

Seems like we live in parallel worlds! I just had to laugh as I watched the video as this is what I hear EVERY single time I set Matthew down lately. Definitely doesn't make for productive days, but rather a worn out mom!
