3 months

Sam was 3-months old on July 1. He is such a good boy. He sleeps well, eats well and plays well. His calm and laid back demeanor was a very welcomed addition to our revved-up and full-of-energy first born. We are hoping these personality traits continue...

Sam fun facts:

• He found his hands/limbs a few weeks ago and it's hilarious to see him stare so intently at his fists and try to figure out how to make them work
• Without much ado, Sam began sleeping through the night a couple weeks ago - Yea!
  
• Emma commands his attention and smiles immediately
  
• Sam loves his lactose-sensitive formula, recently switched from Soy
• He is losing his hair (top only) quickly and looks to us like a "little old man"
• Sam is very content to play under his gym, hang in his bouncy, swing in the swing, etc (unlike his sister who still likes to be entertained at ALL times)
• Sam sleeps on his back
  
• Sam is the youngest of 9 cousins on my side and the youngest of 4 cousins on Joel's side
• When Sam gets tired, his eyes get red...no need to wonder
• He is very rarely fussy, only if hungry, tired or dirty
• Sam loves to suck his hand/fingers and gives me a dirty look when I try to give him his pacifier
• Samuel, his official given name, has evolved into any one of the following: Sam, Sammers, Sammy and Sammy Whammy
  

We are still in awe at what a precious gift Sam's birth mom granted us! We pray daily that we bless her by raising Sam into a Godly young man...I can't think of a single, bigger, responsibility than that!
