Yea for family!

It's a blessing to have so much family, so close. I will never take family for granted having grown up with NO extended family around, ever. We either had to travel to Canada, Iowa or South Dakota to see cousins, aunts, uncles or grandparents.

With that being said, I'm loving our current summer set-up with my two nieces who will be 11yo in August and are exhibiting amazing babysitting skills (and show so much patience towards Emma)! They both (or all three) come over on Sunday nights and then stay for most of the day on Monday, while they watch and entertain Emma (while I work/tend to Sam) which is a HUGE help. Their brother Aidan comes, too, once in a while but he is far more interested in his DS, the computer or a good book. It's funny how Emma seems to sense that and then chases or antagonizes him - poor kid. (They are triplets if you're wondering)

They also come on Thursdays, along with my mom, so that I can go to my office for the day. They help my mom watch Emma so she (my mom) can tend to Sam. It also serves my SIL well so she can continue working outside the home while her kids are out of school for the summer.

Yea for nieces and nephews who are older than my kids!

Who's kid is this??!

Olivia, Regan & Emma

That is my monkey, Emma, perfecting her "cherry drop."
She has a ways to go to nail the landing...but she's close!

This is how Sam does the park...usually
