Beautiful Sunday

As a gorgeous Sunday is ending and while I'm watching (sort of) the Orlando Magic, more than likely, loose in game 5 of the NBA finals, I thought I'd post a quicky. It kind of seems that I have more time to blog lately...hmm...could it be the lack of FB in my life :)

To enjoy the picture perfect day, we decided to take a picnic to the park, Millennium Park. I think this park flat, out rocks. Aside from the pay-to-play beach/water park area, there are the FREE and fantastic playground, picnic facilities and walking trails - all new, all nice, all clean.

(FYI - we recently scored an "admit one child for free" coupon after we signed Emma up for the summer library reading program at the Byron Township library. It'll save you $1.)

Tonight we, along with the Smith family, enjoyed the massive playground and ended the evening with two, sweaty girls - Emma and Katelyn (not Jeanne and Brenda).

What crazy dad would push their kid THAT high? She loves it...

A little playground love

Katelyn's turn and quite successful

I can't explain this thing other than a pole w/ an off-center seat. Once you
began to spin, it whipped you around hilariously.
