I wish I had video taped Emma's expression as we walked through the door. It was a massive smile, from ear to ear. And, if you'll imagine with me, she also had a conversation bubble above her head that said: "Oh goodie, my very own, real baby doll!"
Emma instantly wanted to hold him, change his diaper, feed him and bathe him. Phew...slow down Emma. Actually, Emma was very gentle and got to help hold and feed him. Oh, and she smothered his head with kisses too...pretty cute.
We are so very grateful for such awesome family and friends who've prayed us through this process and been there to support us. We are eager to get through the next several weeks and praying for a smooth and favorable court process!

Adorable! Emma will make an awesome big sister. She'll teach him all sorts of songs and dances and how to have tea parties. I can just hear her now talking his ear off. What a lucky guy!

Congratulations Joel and Brenda (and Emma!). It's so exciting that you get to bring Sam home from the hospital and get to bond from the very beginning.
