Back to life, back to reality

While I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE vacation...I also love to return and get back to routine (Yes, a bit OCD). Of course, leaving our little peanut behind gave us extra incentive to get home in good shape, which we did. Since we packed so much into our 6 days away, I thought I'd break it down into a list including my observations of our trip:

1. Having a business meeting in Orlando is always a good thing
2. Watching professional athletes perform makes me want to get fit
3. Cruise ship walls are P-A-P-E-R thin (see #4)
4. We were placed next to a honeymoon couple - for sure (see #3)
5. Be sure to cover EVERY square inch of your body in SPF 50 when you're ghostly white or else sun poison may be your diagnosis - OUCH!
   
6. I'm the oldest 35 year old alive (see #7 and 8)
7. I've never seen so much partying since my days in G.R. Christian High School (see #6)
   
8. I had my nose in a fabulously good book most of the trip and can't wait to discuss it at book club (see #6)
   
9. Nassau was a dirty island, but they make good adult beverages when its hot-as-a-witches-$#% and you're grumpy from walking aimlessly down dirty streets
10. There is way too much food on cruise ships...almost an abomination :)
11. 3-day cruises should not be legal - not long enough
    
12. The nightly entertainment in the cruise ship theater was absolutely amazing and far exceeded my expectations.
13. Most importantly, spending so much QT with hubby took care of any of that roommate syndrome that can sneak into marriages
14. Having two sets of parents that are eager and able to watch Emma while away on vacation is priceless!
15. After sharing vacation details, most people continue to ask questions about #4.
    
16. We will go on a cruise again but will be trying an all inclusive resort next time so let me know if you have any great recommendations!
