Here's a little clip of Emma opening her stocking gifts. What a blast she was this year as her enthusiasm or lack thereof was pure.

Joel mentioned to me the day before Christmas that he thought Emma needed one more gift, a special gift, just from him. I thought the idea was great as we really hadn't bought her much, and it was so sweet and thoughtful.
As life would have it, Emma wanted nothing to do with what Joel bought her, she thought it was clothes...we got quite the chuckle.

She must be missing her handbag gene. We know she has the shoe gene (purple heels!), so she'll probably be okay. Maybe she will develop the handbag one as she gets older.
