Crazy Time in Amish Country

We made it back safely and we loved every moment of our alone-time in Amish county! The best part was knowing that Emma was in good hands (Thanks to Joel's parents!). We actually went with Joel's brother and his wife...we had a blast with lots of laughs. What do you do in an area where the town shuts down, sharp, at 5pm (weekdays too)? You relax, hang out in the pool/hot tub, play games, take a nap, read a book, traverse to an adjacent town and brave a non-chain restaurant, catch up on blog reading, catch up on "US" time, etc.

Joel ended up coming away from this weekend in a crazy good mood. I can't explain in words the competitiveness between Joel and his brother over games, board games, card games, etc. Joel's younger brother is a game, card, numbers shark who normally wins a game no matter who is playing. After several, breathless rounds of dominoes...Joel was declared the Ultimate Domino player. I'm just happy I didn't come in last place for once, WOOT-WOOT!

Okay what I caught from your blog was..."Joel came away in a crazy good mood"...and then something about "breathless rounds"....
DIRTY!!! No wonder Joel had a smile on his face! LOL. Nothing like Amish-town to rekindle the flames...
Sorry, sick mind today.
