Final Homestudy

We had our final home study meeting yesterday, Yahoo! This was the meeting where our caseworker came over to check our condo out to be sure it was baby-approved. From the sounds and looks of things, it was. We still have some serious work to do on our profile before its finalized even though the rough draft has been done. I'm hoping to have our profile done, printed and ready-to-go in the next 3 to 4 weeks. I suppose once that is done, we'll be that much closer to beginning our wait!

Honestly, I can hardly even stand the thought of waiting and not-knowing. This has been a huge learning experience for me. Lets just say I'm not the most patient person in the world. Typically, if something is not going the way I like it...I'll give, whatever that is, the proverbial shove and move on to something else. Well, I suppose in a way, I did that for about 4 years. So, here I am at 33 years old and just beginning a family. But, I do take complete solace in the fact that God's ways are better than our ways...and thank goodness!
